  • The general word is ferrule. I'd call that rubber ferrule. Shout "Oi! Rubber ferrule!" at it and see if it responds.

  • "Alloy Brake Cable Ferrule for Non Aero levers, Old School type" according to SJS.

    If you want plastic ones, I'm sure I've got a pair you can have for postage.
