So I bought a frame and wheels off this forum...thanks Frankthetank and Appollo. It was just meant to be a cheapish winter bike.
Then I started shopping around for 'bits' there wasn't much on here recently. So I started looking for sale parts with the idea of the build being a reasonable price...which led to 'must be matching to look right' and unfortunately I'm upto £1100 so far and I'm sure there are some parts I've forgotten I'll need...or will want.
So I've ended up with a garage full of Thompson, Omnium, Chris King shiny bits that the wife hasn't either noticed (unlikely) or not said anything yet (probably ammo for the next barney or ridiculously expensive handbag).
