yeah its happened twice in proper shit the bed type fashion. guessing the old ones i got from joss are just knackered
those cheap atacs are pretty solid infact. they do look very cheap though, and the left pedal has some sort of clicking/clunking noise if you are going uphill (a lot of force going through the pedal) so I have contacted CRC for a refund (yes picky)

these are cheap but "lower spring tension" ? probably not what im after. any about for £40-£50 that are suited to a fixie rider like myself
