  • The problem with wanting data for bars and things like that is that they'll be tested in isolation, and how they interact with your bike and position is probably also a factor, i.e. A bar might be fastest for one particularly rider and his position, but not for a different rider on a different bike. IIRC Steve Irwin had real issues with his P5 as the same position he had on his old bike ended up measurable slower, despite the P5 being a supposedly faster bike.

    Same as things like wheels, some are faster in certain forks than wheels that test faster in isolation.

  • Yeah, true, but data on bars in isolation is better than nothing when contemplating handing over a grand. I'd rather see something beforehand and can at least then be disappointed when I test them with my setup knowing I did the best research I could before purchase.
