Paid for a saddle like a week ago that was meant to be sent in the post, no sign of saddle, no reply to messages.

Both paid for the same saddle? Always, always paypal. May be possible to reverse it, and if not then bank transfer means you have his actual real life details so may be possible to proper, IRL, get your money back as it's fraud.

Glad I didn't pay for owt, but I'd never send £250 to a new user via bank transfer. Would possibly have considered it for a saddle though.

I'm OK with banning him permanently, including his aliases, if he doesn't immediately remedy the situation. That is, if this isn't sorted in a week then someone let me know and I'll ban his accounts.

It is a small amount but you are still able to take this to the police or small claims court if it's not voluntarily sorted within a week or so. Again, any information you need to back this up I'm happy to provide, the forum software keeps all historical copies of comments so even if he tries to edit anything the full history is there.

There is, of course, the possibility that this was just a fuck-up on his part, an innocent error. And if that is the case then I'd expect he'll resolve it swiftly.

Yeah, me too. These things happen. It doesn't look good for him though. I don't know if anyone paid for the group, he never responded to my PMs. Could interpret that as him falling off the grid for whatever reason though, OR him getting cold feet about fraudulently taking £250. Might have been because I was insisting on photo's.

Anyway, we can sit and hypothesise all day. Hopefully he'll sort it all out.
