That's a lot better than just one for dazzling everyone...
This, I can imaging many scenario that would work, hell, it's exactly like the car's high beam option, just switch to low beam if there's an oncoming road user.
I might buy a few and hand them out to people who blind me in Richmond park.
Jesus fucking wept, I hate waiting five minutes for them to pass and stop dazzling me.

I just do what I think @n/a suggests and push my light so it points at the ground.
I'm seriously considering practicing my polo body checking... And then pointing out it happened because i was trying to shield my eyes.
