time at the top says 12pm. Not sure if that's the time for golfing or for setting off?
(my work email currently has the same glitch.. it keeps saying people are sending me things at 3am..) -

OK I'm back, sorry I've been quiet - I've been stressing over an exam I had yesterday - which I passed so all is good with the world and I'm ready for DINO GOLF.
I put the start down at 12pm, I think that was the meeting time at Ealing Broadway station - so I think the feeder ride was going to start off a little earlier @Doctor_Cake can you confirm?
I'm flexible on that, but I'd like to be at the venue by around 1-2pm then we have some golf, then down the pub, hopefully missing the sunday lunch rush in the process.Meeting point is by the vagina bike stands opposite Ealing Broadway station (you'll know when you see them)
Oh and @pootsmanuva you may actually get to meet my imaginary boyfriend on Sunday, as he wants to come and play golf.

Yes. Feeder ride will start at 11 am from Hyde Park corner. Meeting point at the new cafe just inside the gates of Hyde Park.
(I think the ride will take us under an hour to Ealing Broadway, but I haven't done it in it's entirety in one go yet, will do this on Saturday to confirm timings).

@Doctor_Cake drop me a text when your group leaves Hyde Park on Sunday, and I'll get to Ealing Broadway in good time to meet you. It about a 10-15 min ride from my house. I'll PM you my number.

Couple of us coming, but not riding ... 1:30 at the golf place a good time?
-
• #113
I reckon 1pm should be good, I can text you with progress if you like, does your number still end in 8206?
-
• #114
It does! We're just over an hours drive away pending traffic so we'll leave just before Noon and wait somewhere near the entrance/carpark. (I'm coming with Mrs Socks).
-
• #115
Sweet! The car park is pretty massive, so you'll be able to wait in there and look at the realistic roaring animatronic dinos!
-
• #116
Sounds ace. I'll do the full distance recce on Saturday as well, to have a more accurate idea of the time it will take us to arrive at Ealing Broadway.

-
• #119
Hoping I can make this using up my last funds until payday, haha. I haven;t added myself to any list because I don;t want to jinx it but hopefully will be coming and riding out from Hyde Park!

@Cazakstan I get paid tomorrow - happy to shout you a round of golf! You can repay me with a pint or two some time in the future.

I'm sure he'd love it, but I'd not get a chance to do anything other than run around after him. Deffo in a year or two though. He'll go fly drone in the park with Dad (well, watch Dad fly drone in the park).

Just noticed a special offer on their website as well, unlimited play on Sundays if you fill in a paper voucher beforehand and bring it along. Also if you have a group of 4, it works out to £7 per head.

• #123
Brilliant! printing that out now, I'll bring spare copies

I'm loving the financial and parental priorities here :D
Sorry to ask again, but the time thing at the top of the thread doesn't work for me (currently says 4am). What time were you planning to start the golf shenanigans?
