I get incredibly annoyed if I accidentally ride without it!!
-

Excuse my ignorance but what exactly is a KOM? King of Map? Something like that?
-
• #10
Ha, King Of Map. I like it.

*emphasized text*King of the Mountain...but doesn't just apply to mountains...it's what the current fastest person on each segment is known as

Makes more sense than mountain!

Not if you follow pro-cycling! There's a whole dress code and everything...

Think I'll do something similar. Once it's light enough I'll hopefully get out most nights after work to do a little spin, then go somewhere more adventurous over the weekend. God lord I'm looking forward to shorts and jersey weather.

I think I can vaguely remember that being a thing...

I've been looking in to fitness bands and took a punt on a Jawbone UP24 earlier today. I mainly bought it for the mental side of health than physical, for the sleep tracker and idle alert - the band vibrates when you're 'inactive' for a certain period of time - however I have learned that it can be linked to Strava so that's definitely encouraged me to start running again, not sure how well it'll work with cycling. Going to ease myself in and go for short blast tomorrow after I figure out how to sync it all up. I used to do a short 5.6km circuit every night which I gradually increased, I think I'll stick to that as much as I can for now with the goal of vastly improving on it

I like to switch it on when I go cycling so people can see why I've 'skipped' a day of running :p
Just re downloaded Strava.
No idea what I'm doing so some encouragement would be nice, who's on it?
