^ I wouldn't be so dismissive, its your best route into Europe this season.

Mike, at times I wonder whether your deliberate self delusion would not better equip you to be a UKIP politician.
But if they kick the forrins out of Anfield Dicki won't be allowed in.

Although both Liverpool and UKIP are preparing for a European exit.

Kyle Walker showing he knows and understands tha rulez
http://www.theguardian.com/football/2015/jan/20/kyle-walker-tottenham-sheffield-united
Back in the Walker household, the kit selection of the Tottenham full-back’s son, Roman, has already been made on behalf of the three-year-old. “He’s a Blade,” explained Walker. “I’m a Blade so he’s a Blade. He’s got both kits, but obviously he can’t wear a Sheffield United one on Wednesday, so we’ll stick him in the Tottenham one.”

I only see what I need to or want to Clive, everything else is foreign to me.
Even in spite of overwhelming evidence to the contrary, I never budge. I still don't know if this is a good or bad thing.
But UKIP's not for me thanks -

When was the last time that Liverpool won at Stamford Bridge? How many games ago?
...
06 Feb 2011 Chelsea v Liverpool W 0-1 Premier League
20 Nov 2011 Chelsea v Liverpool W 1-2 Premier League
29 Nov 2011 Chelsea v Liverpool W 0-2 Carling Cup
05 May 2012 Chelsea v Liverpool L 2-1 FA Cup
11 Nov 2012 Chelsea v Liverpool D 1-1 Premier League
29 Dec 2013 Chelsea v Liverpool L 2-1 Premier LeagueThey don't need to win. A 2-2 draw would see them through (after they've played extra time).

Chelsea will have their canned fans in place for the return leg so the atmosphere will be electric. Hopefully we can overcome that and progress as we did last time

Costa looks like the kind of tool that would dish out the grief at school but then go crying to teacher once someone slaps him down. Lovely moment last night when he failed to get a penalty after chucking himself on the floor

Gerrard has performed more dives than Greg Louganis.

Maybe going to Craven Cottage wasn't such a good idea. Still at least the beer is cold.

You really need to start taking these opportunities to jump ahead while you can. No one else has yet.
Of course we still need to take advantage of our game in hand, but I can't say I'm not pleased with the way the midweek fixtures have panned out...

Depressing state of affairs when Townsend is the best player in your team for three games in a row.

Errrrrr... Didn't you spend a tenth of that last season alone?>Errrrr we lost the team's lynchpin, best player in the league and arguably the second best player around for that spend. Something the big three rarely have to contend with (apart Ronanldo to madrid*). Our owners spent about £30M. You've doubled, maybe tripled that in paying off managers.
Also those players are showing that maybe we haven't 'done a spurs' afterall...It's a sad part of modern football that most of us are too quick to judge and have little patience.
*De Gea will be off, too.
