Will there be someone to check my bike complies with the rules?
We rely on riders to have fully understood the rules so we won't be policing this during the event.
It's not bike focussed at all (relative to the Italian version). Plenty of modern aluminium on show last year. Was better for it tbh as it was it's first year, though they should add some sort of simple prize/token at the end for those who have braved it in OG steel and wool.
I've haven't ridden the true Eroica and maybe they are still finding their feet, but a little more authenticity as a bike ride and less faux vintage would be better for me...
This is a bit disappointing:
