Cycling Weekly recently ran an article about cold weather riding and quoted to Dr. Mark Garcia, who noted, “your heart will be working very hard to pump the blood round your body due to this increased vascular resistance and the subsequent increase in blood pressure. The knock-on effect is fatigue.”
...and that blood is thicker (but not in a positive, Katusha way).

Probably, unless you're riding with more fatigue? That or someone's put water in your tubes or you're wearing a particularly un-aero facial expression.
