• @skinnywheels levers are easily said apart due to the split in the hoods and the totally different grapihics.-finish on brake lever.

    as for the calipers?

    Chorus 2008 has HIDDEN PIVOT BOLTS, just like record, whereas 2009 model is basically a centaur.

    Also, campy likes to write "ball bearing mechanism2 on everything which has ball bearings :)

    btw, I'd just buy sram rival calipers or force.. chheaperlighter and prowerfrul

    You can tell the difference because they look completely different? Cheers, thanks for the education.

    I didn't ask about levers. The OP didn't ask about levers. The only person talking about levers is you.

    I simply pointed out that you were talking about levers and not Skeleton brake callipers, which we had been discussing.

    Chorus 2008 has HIDDEN PIVOT BOLTS, just like record, whereas 2009 model is basically a centaur.

    You mean like I said in #6 above?

    To be clear, Skeletons fitted with bearings are:

    • 2007/8 Chorus;
    • 2007 to date Record;
    • 2009 to date Super Record.
  • hey? problem?

    I've written both about the calipers and levers as well. My first post in thre thread was regarding the calipers..

    "btw, every prae-2008 chorus has ball bearings and hidden pivots (not the earliest models though()

    with the introduction of SR in 2009, chorus was downgraded, basically the 2009 calipers are identical to 2008 centaurs with different blocks.."

    and after it I just added a little "interesting fact" about the levers as well.. Have you actually read my first post in regards to this thread? :

    First, I've written that prae2008 chorus had bearings in the calipers.
    Then added the fact, that also some low-end levers had this feature, which is typically only seen with chorus-record-sr.

    I did not intend to hijack anything, I just thought it would not hurt anyone to share that as well.. -.-'

    Cheers
