New Track Champ will be same save for modified, more conventional seat clamp arrangement.

New TC looks pretty good, not much difference tho like you said.
Was kinda of hoping for some big changes tbh but silver / metal colour way is cool if that's going to happen.

looks nice. Liking that new top tube. May have to finally get myself one.

Ok I got myself a brand new Pre Cursa frame thinking I could get it running with the parts off an other bike, but the headset doesn't fit. Dolans website says the Pre Cursa uses a "36x45 headset", and either I'm crazy or they are impossible to find. Looking around on various websites I found zero headsets described as "36x45". Had I known this I'd have ordered a headset drom dolan to come with the frame but for the headset alone the shipping cost is kind of outrageous. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Just picked up a Pre Cursa and some Omnoms cheap on eBay for a rat build.
Is this gunna all be okay clearance wise? -
• #2311
Not sure what bb needed but have seen a number of pcs clad with them
-
• #2312
Yes. All runs good for me.
-
• #2313
Cheers man.
Stoked to get it built up..Anyone recommend a decent cheap GXP bottom bracket?
Or have a spare? -
• #2314
What's plans for the build man?
-
• #2315
Cheap as I can whilst not totally skimping..
Got frame for less than normal as it's 'soiled'.
Secondhand Alpina track fork.
Secondhand silver Omnoms. OG Time ATACs.
Got a Thomson stem and Easton Monkey Lites to go on..
Think I've got an old Easton seatpost around.Need a flite or a turbo..
And some wheels - waiting for payday for a set of Open Pro X System Ex wheels. -
• #2316
Sounds good, think a flite would look good. How's it soiled?
Really want a new project, is def time to sell my track champ. Just not sure what to get, really fancy a Brooklyn or a mash actually
-
• #2317
got some scuffs on seatstays so dolan dropped price.
guess weird policies but i aint complaining. my win -
• #2318
Sick, I've seen a few or those they've put up. Always look minor, looking forward to seeing it
-
• #2319
What size bb do TCs take? I think mine's a mm or two too long.
-
• #2320
It's a standard 68mm BSA bottom bracket shell. The spindle length will depend on what cranks you have and what chainline you're going for.
-
• #2321
I see. Thought my question sounded stupid.
-
• #2322
That sounds a lot like my one! Dirty clean like.
Flite with a bit of layback looks the biz.
Slow of fast build? -
• #2323
Not sure yet really.
-
• #2324
For the BB, there's really no point for going for high end ones. The second revision of the GXP are really quite decent. The ones with the rounded edges as opposed to the earlier flat cups.
Like soIf you're feeling flush though, try the Hope BB with the GXp converter and that should run for yonks.

If you go for Hope, put a little notch (or two) on the inside of the adapter cups. They are a massive pain to remove afterwards otherwise.
Nooo, peanut butter wrench is campag.

Or you can pay £60-£100 for a "vintage" one.
