hair dryer on the BB shell, it worked for me.

It's probably threadlocked, if its fairly new, and you'll need to heat to melt the sticky shit.

It's not that old a bike, but was mistreated by previous owner. I think it's rusted on but I will give hairdryer a go!

it worked for me when removing a 25 year old BB.

Smash the crap out of it with a hammer and some kind of drift.
Best scenario, bearing pops out in a 1er. Worst, the centre come out the bearing releasing pressure on the outer ring and making it a lot easier to remove.
Got a mafia bikes 24 bmx thing and the bottom bracket bearings have welded themselves into the frame!
And tips for getting them out? it is currently soaking in white spirit... But has been for a few hours and I couldn't bash the bearings out.
