I might be wrong, but Francesco has always pantographed his frames. Here I see none.

Nice track frame nonetheless. But I'm unsure it's a F.Moser.
Have you got a picture of the top of the fork crown?

If it's a Reynolds, then, as far as I know, it can't be a Moser. He used Columbus and Oria.

Is that a small split in the seat tube, below the clamp?

Have you checked the rust: is it just on the surface?

Also is that a small crack/split in the head-tube just above the bottom part of the headset?

there is a tiny split in the seat tube below the clamp.. 2 mm. or so. i dont know about the head tube. not sure how you want me to check the rust?

Perhaps you should get someone who knows what they're doing, to check it over.

There is enough that is obviously wrong, to suggest that there could be worse that is hidden.

i will do a thorough inspection of the rusted areas, take out the headset and have a look there if it is a split.. as for the split in the seattube there should not be a problem there, i never had problems on other bikes wit same split.. will get back to you with an update on things when i have time to chek.

It may be a crack in the paint. But if it's a crack in the tube, then the headset won't be fitting in properly.

Moser or not, this looks cool!

Mark on headtube is not a crack!

had a closer look at the areas with rust and in my honest opinion it is not too bad. wire brushed a bit on the fork to see how bad it really is and did a few close up pics of other areas.
There is something that rattles in the top tube, probably dried up old grease from the seat post area. the fork rattles a bit too, dunno what that is. Cant think of anything else to write her but feel free to ask if there is anything else :)
