  • I don't think so, have had that before and it's not the same sort of pain.

  • tried my hand at 'bike mechanics' last night.

    i took a tube.

  • Thanks, will have a read.

  • Where are you moving to bro?

  • The very edge of London, at the opposite side from you.

  • Snow started all fun and stuff.

Then on the way back last night, epic mudguard (snowguard!?) clearance issues. Nice powder but rubbish for trying to get anywhere in. Still, took my mate 2 hours to drive what I ride in 25minutes, even inc regular snow removal

  • Unhurried, empty and a sunny London. 7/10- could be improved by distance increase/ off-road potential.

  • Terrifying! Where's that?

ION had to bus to work this morning to pick my bike up after getting the bus home after work drinks. Also +eyebrows for the unhurried comment, Saturday morning riding in London is an absolute delight.

  • Glasgow, fun really!
Gf found a SnowFox with glow sticks for eyes, creepy, though the snow reveals just where they get at night, everywhere!

  • Got told "You're a cock and you should go fuck yourself"

    Fair enough really.

  • Didn't expect so many people out on the road this morning... Brass monkeys, moderate chilblains... 6.5/10

  • Was bold, started cold. Wondered why my head was feeling so nippy. Realised I forgot to put my helmet on. Also forgot lights. Looks like a bus home.

  • Might fuck off going down old street beyond the roundabout. Slightly quicker it may be, it's not worth the heroes over/undertaking far too closely, being generally discourteous. The amount of people who undertake a car indicating left and then act hard done by when they nearly come a cropper does stress me out a touch, a great deal of eye rolling and head shaking this morning.

    Still fun though, right? Right?

  • Woke up early, left early. Morning crisp and dry. Was running early so had time to swing past Borough Market for a coffee and a brownie and then another cake at work. 9/10

  • Riding up lee valley canal from tottenham to Cheshunt (partly frozen) - very pretty....shame about smell from waste processing plant. 8/10

  • Took the tube today. 20 mins door to door. Had nice tunes on the headphones, a nearly empty tube carriage and then an easy stroll in the sun through Fitzrovia to the office. And no awkward toilet cubicle clothing change. Entirely acceptable.

  • Bought some merino glove liners at lunchtime, took the secret route home, chilblain and almost traffic free... 10/10

  • Bought some merino glove liners at lunchtime

Where from? I need to get some of these tomorrow.

  • Icebreakers from Cycle Surgery... Bit spenny at 25 nuggets but well worth the cash splash, bloody lovely...

  • Ok, cool. No Cycle Surgery on my commute so I think I'll nip in to CW Evans tomorrow and see what they have.

  • sealskinz at cyclesurgery = 5 pouns.

or were earlier in the month.

  • Gloves for inside your gloves can >>>>>>

Man, I hate having to put those on. My thinsulates just got holes in. Merino sounds nice. What are these^ sealskinz like @Chalfie ? Liners, right?
