Sometimes if you get a slightly oversize torx head and hammer it it will give ebnough purchase to get it out - failing that - drill and left handed easy out is the only option ??

Try put the point of a nail into one of the holes and hold the nail at an angle then tap the nailhead anticlockwise ??

Quite common issue with dust caps. For that reason it's good practice to grease threads liberally when installing.
Good luck removing it.

Thanks for the advice. Will put into practice if I ever get this little fecker off

I used a massive flat head screw driver to remove the caps. The drill holes made one big slot and the 1cm wide screwdriver did the rest.

Thats a plan. Will give that a go.
Thanks

Quite common issue with dust caps. For that reason it's good practice to completely forget about using dust caps.

^ Zactly.
No-one used them BITD, you only see them on show ponies: stick them in the draw for when you sell the cranks, with a little tax for having the dustcaps :)

Hi Guys
How would I go about removing a Campagnolo crank dust cap whereby the Allen thread has gone?
Thanks in advance
