i think the margin for error is too great for these processes, as could split the top of stay tubes, i have another alan that kindly donated it's cable guides to my alan/colnago carbitubo , the headtube lug on donor alan had split, i had been advised it could be unbonded, where this one in hand was left outside, the corroded caps will probably prove difficult to unbond
also , drilling and filling would make very awkward to get inside stay diameter/full length of caps i'z thinking
