Some friends and I went up Thetford forest a couple of weeks ago and it was good fun. Did the 10 mile 'Lime Burner' route which was pretty flat/boring/exhausting (single speed/slammed seat) until the last section which was some fast downhill and was a bit more up my street. Would recommend a
Mousehold is alright, most of the trails have fallen into disrepair and there's a lot of dog walkers & families about. Spoke to a few guys there not long ago and they said some of the Mousehold crusaders had been 'booby trapping' the trails with logs to deal with the mountain bikers..
Other than that there's Bacton Woods which I've not been to before but I think they have a purpose built bike track so no stray dogs to worry about!
