  • Pretty sure there was a 36" and a 38" there the other day, I've taken to looking through all the sizes as they get a bit jumbled... No treasure yet but I'm always finding other stuff in the wrong place...

    It's like digging through crates, persistence pays in the end... ;)

  • Howies have some Japanese 12.5oz selvedge in, limited numbers.

  • Found the bargain of the year.
    Denim demon - look them up.
    Got the snorre model for ~ 4£!
    I've known the brand for some years. It's pretty cool. Some of the detailing are a bit much, but based on sami culture in a nice way. I like my pair a lot.
    If any one wants a pair, I might go back and pick up. Postage will be on top. There was two left. Both 30x32.

  • £4 ? Interested.
    How much would postage be @drøn ?

  • That looks fabulous value. I would certainly take a pair if you happen to get them. Assume postage would not be outrageous..

  • I'm in a cabin in the middle of the swedish woods right now. No computer and mobile internet is very limited. I can figure out postage etc when I get home in denmark. I guess around a fiver. Considering keeping a spare pair for my self and let the last go on here.

  • Well if you fancy sending a pair on then let me know, and I would love them assuming the postage is less than 25 quid.

    Have a lovely time in the woods, I am jealous.

  • Thanks graunch.
    Just found out they're the 14oz kurabo denim version. I think. Nice and stiff but with a slight soft nap (or whatever it's called) on the inside.
    Anyway, there's no better feeling than breaking in new crisp denim by jerking around in the nature.

  • What kind of cut is the snorre? Can't seem to find them on the website. Could also be interested.

  • indeed. I'm easy. If it is too much hassle on your side then that is absolutely fine.

  • Slim, straight, decent rise, slightly weird front pockets.
    I found photos with google, but can't figure out to link now.

  • @drøn Where in sweden are you?

    Wouldn't mind a pair if you still can pick up. I'm in Sweden too, so postage shouldn't be too bad, unless you're in the Helsingborg area and I could come meet you? Small odds though :)

    these are the ones yes.
    @kboy I'm back in copenhagen now.

    I've got one pair to pass on.
    postage is either 10 gbp normal post or 20 gbp insured and tracked. so pretty close to outrageous.
    I see there's a sale on their home site. some very good value denim!

  • Cool. If I am in the queue let me know your details and I'll PayPal you. No worries if someone is ahead of me.

  • no strong dibs, but:
    In chronological order of expression of interest:

    @Pifko
    @graunch
    @Chak
    @kboy

  • Cool. After you Pifko.

    Just drop me a pm if Pifko no longer interested and I'll send you the cash.

  • Gustins came in the post today after being stuck in customs for 10 days, very happy and fit well. The package was covered in stickers saying tax needs paying (close to £20) but there was no note or ways to pay, does this mean I don't need to pay it as its been delivered?

  • Nice one - Thats very kind. ill sort out payment/PM shortly

    @graunch - I'll let you know if they don't fit me and I can pass them on.

  • Pifko. Cool.

  • I'm assuming these guys have already been mentioned but does anyone have an opinion on Hiut Denim? I really like the look of these but it's a lot to shell out on a whim when my Uniqlo pair is fairing quite well.

  • +1 - like the sound of them as a company but would like first-hand reviews...

  • I bought a pair on sale last autumn. After trying them on I returned them as I really couldn't get on with the cut, especially the rise which seemed much, much higher than my Uniqlo pair.

  • Yeah? I have a pair of Edwin ED-80 black selvedge that have a ridiculously high rise and I sort of regret buying them, having an arse and a tiny waist it's quite difficult to get a good fit! I might have to pass on them then, cheers for the input

  • any recommendations for decent tapered jeans with 36" inseam and cyclist's thighs?

    thank you
