can you please link me to a 120 spaced hub with disc mounting?

So I've just bought an all-city nature boy. I need abit of help re 130mm rear spacing - I have searched but it's still confusing.
On this particular frame will a 120mm with spaces be ok, I'll know it'll fit - but will the chainline be ok or will it be easier just to get some 130mm hubs and build some wheels?

get some cheap shimano wheels and a SS kit, jobsagoodun

120mm wheels spaced to 130 will be fine provided you add the same spacers to each side.
The chainline will remain the same because it's measures from the centre of the frame.

Hiflange, out. Doesn't mention anything about those being 120 spaced either.

@6pt @7Up sorted, thanks for the help...missing the little black plastic spacer on the right side, but it's apparently not a big deal...might just make one...
although this is now another option...
Downtube shifters are so far away for tall riders, but I'm a bit nervous about having them poking directly at my hand when in the middle of the cassette..should that even be a concern?
Other progress:
fitted most of the 600 tricolor group, had a total nightmare taking off the NDS 600 pedal, that the seller had left on (without informing me it was stuck) ended up using a cheater bar lol. Waiting for some Tiagra caliper levers to arrive and to fit the Minoura rack and we're good! Other parts on/going on pretty basic but I like them, Kalloy stem, Cult pedals, Cult x Vans grips, EA50 bars, Selle Italia Flite, Specialized Armadillo 28cs that were kicking about... excited for this one!

Not really. Worst that'll happen if you knock them is you change gear. I quite like using them to be honest, even on a tandem I couldn't fully control they never felt like a liability.
If all goes to plan I'll be sticking some pics of my 600 effort up at the end of the week...

...but there could be play in the mounts I guess

Nice, thanks. Whilst at the moment I'm thinking that either fixed or free is fine ATM. Realistically I'll probably end up with double fixed, I think it's my lack of fitness which is erring towards having a freewheel.

Which is what I thought, what about the bottom bracket chainline on the nature boy? Still 42mm? I can't find owt on their website or elsewhere.

As I'm treating my Croix de Fer to a new group, the big question is:
5700 or 5800? Almost the same price, but is 11 speed a faff? I'd quite like the option of a 1x11 set up in the future, and 11-32 on the back seems to give a good range with 36/46 up front.
Thoughts?

take into account long term cost of maintenance also, jussayin

• #99067
Opinion seems divided on whether 11 speed actually wears faster though, isn't it?
The thing holding me back is the fact that all my other bikes are 10 speed and I like to swap stuff around.
It seems silly to spend money on 5700 when I could spend the same and get 5800. Though with the latter I do need a new mech (mechs?) and cassette.

I bought 5700 a few weeks before 5800 came out. I'd like to upgrade but the new price of 5800 means theres no demand for my group and id take a massive hit. Maybe worth bearing in mind if your likely to try and move it on at some point.

even if it wears at the same rate, the cassettes etc are more expensive:
-
• #99070
It's negligible to be honest though, the rate I go through cassettes it's going to be about a penny every few days difference...
-
• #99071
fair enough, just saying because it all adds up when you add in chainrings and chains etc...

Really? I see 5700 shifters going for £80 second hand, and the mechs aren't much cheaper second hand. That's what's motivating me to buy new, after a while of looking for a decent second hand deal!
New 5800 group is £298. I worked out that if I bought it and sold the bits I don't need (callipers and cranks), and bought the bits I do want (bigger cassette, medium cage mech) then I'd end up spending around £180 - the same price as all the bits I do want from Probikekit with 10% off.
That doesn't seem too bad to me...

Nice what size/colour?
-
• #99074
Aye. Point taken. All the online retailers seem to be having an ongoing chain/cassette price war at the moment so may have to stock up.
If I was upgrading cranks as well I'd have to think about it more, but as I'm sticking with the ones I have then I don't have to worry about the '4 arm' issue.

Chainline doesnt depend on the frame, except when the chainstay limits how narrow you can go, and that depends on the crank design too.
