bodge solution (disc mount 120mm fixed hub):

plus disc rotor and spacer kit

...but there could be play in the mounts I guess

Nice, thanks. Whilst at the moment I'm thinking that either fixed or free is fine ATM. Realistically I'll probably end up with double fixed, I think it's my lack of fitness which is erring towards having a freewheel.
