This frame was originally my brother's, and since it was purchased about 15 years ago, never received any real love or attention. It also maimed my brother while we attempted to do a bikepacking trip with my dad. He slipped on the pedal while climbing a hill in Yorkshire and it ripped a V shape in his shin right to the bone. I was about 12 at the time so it's taken me until now to get the image out of my mind.
It similarly tried to kill me when I went around a corner and the wheel pringled, sending me flying into the junction outside the Royal Sovreign. Since then it's been stripped down to the frame, and the cranks. Eventually it'll get a new coat of paint but for now I want to rebuild it for light touring duties and send it back to my brother.
It's Reynolds 708, and has a really nice pearlescent paint job, that has taken some unforunate hammering. Any suggestions for a group set and wheels would be appreciated.
