I'm not. Prior to the Zola goal, had you ever seen anyone else even attempt that? The levels of skill demonstrated, he neatly backheels a driven corner kick whilst running, are off the scale. It doesn't matter who it was against, or the amount of pressure he was under, it is a unique and astonishing goal.

Whenever anyone mentions great goals I always think of this one, for the ability to a hit the ball at that angle, the accuracy and also the power because he's so far away.

I have always wondered about the concept of which goal s better than any other. Goal of the month or goal of the season never really imposed themselves on me. Some goals are spectacular, or clever or show great individual or team skills. Others are opportune; they come just at the right moment. No one would, for example, put Drogba's penalty in the CL final shoot out up for an award as the best goal of the month or even of the game but it was possibly my favourite goal ever on an emotional level.

I cannot see the point of comparing Bergkamp with Gerrard. They don't interest me.

Mind you, that goal scored by the Irish woman was quite superb.
