Anyone had Instagram clean up their spam followers yet?

They keep removing and then reinstating mine, just want them gone.

Put them in ignore then.

I like the new Instagram filters, suppose they realised not everyone want the OTT filter with massive vignetting and heavy tint.

I feel a bit unappreciated on instagram recently. I've been really happy with my photos yet some of them barely get acknowledged. Maybe I just need more photos of bikes.

Why would you care?? Keep on keeping on with what you enjoy otherwise surely it's painting by numbers. Oooh look a cat sat at a keyboard: "Like" (x50). Or that brill image of Gravesend which gets 5 likes. I know which I prefer.

^ thats what people with no likes say to make themselves feel better. Don't listen to him. If it has less than 10 likes its junk and you're a failure. Put your phone in the bin.

It was just bugging me at the time.

I'm happy with my documentation of nothing in particular and have been messing around with hip-hop lyric captions, so all is good. If people like it then great but I'm not going to give up because I'm not getting as much attention as some of the other stuff on instagram.

This reminds me I need to get into the photo taking groove again.

Etiquette advice?
Great pic on my web aggregator but rectangular with a tiny credit in bottom corner.
So I cropped square and shared on ig, referencing the photographers name in the comments and that it was cropped for ig.
Then went to search to see if the photographer was on instagram, found him and linked his page into the comments, thinking this is a nice/right thing to do...
Got a message from him saying not cool to crop out photographer credit.

Am I unknowingly being a complete dick?
Or have I just stumbled across a sensitive photographer?

Having tried to make some $$ from photography in the past I thought I was sensitive to not pissing other people off...seemingly not.

Its not cool because when someone steals the image from your IG and uses it there won't be any photographer credit unless they include a written one.

I figure that's why he may be a bit pissed.

Yeah that and it's annoying when other people alter your pics but once credited I wouldn't really call anyone out on it.

Yeah, that's bugged me before when my photos have been used for Facebook banners etc, but if the original or myself is referenced then I've been fine.
