Following the cretinous behaviour of Clarkson et al over in Agrentina, I've developed a strange need to own a 928. A pal has tipped that the GT or GTS in manual will be the one to own for future classic status.

I quite like the new C, looks classy with little wheels and no bodykit just like a Merc should and the interior looks like a big improvement.

928s are lush, but that Strosek is grim. Leggy GTs were 5-8k last I looked, shame.

I've done just under 12k miles in my Scciroco now, so just booked it in for a service with Bristol VW.... £209.
Seems all right to me for a full oil & filter change, and check over..... Is that expensive??

Want to stick with VW service centre as it's only a year old.

That's not bad.

My GTI's got a 75k next week and it's covered by the warranty. As soon as that runs out I'll shift it and get another one.

Can't be dealing with looking around for a decent, reputable workshop over here. Once bitten twice shy...

a friend had an auto s4 with 18k on the clock. he offered it to me for a song when i was buying the jeeb. it was lovely to drive, but too small inside for me. i don't think (at the time) i could have lived with the auto or the 9mpg.

i fucken should have bought it.
