So I am putting a spreadsheet together for this build and stuck on wheels; I've seen cheap MTB wheelsets like Shimano MT35 with 24mm+ rim width; will tyres like grand bois work with that? There is not much slick 650b MTB tyre choice .. also 11 speed MTB wheelset; does such thing exist thats not too pricey? I can always go 26" if its offers more ease and budget.
In terms of cranks ideally I'd like 46/34 165mm the closest thing to that on budget is shimano CX70 but thats 46/36; any other options?
Gears .. IF I decide to go R685 whats the best FD and RD set up? Can I use it with MTB derailleurs?
