What are the decent options for a steel frame with a standard threaded BB shell? Want something for light touring buy maybe also doing CX on later. Anything to consider other than the Croix de Fer (Reynolds 725)? Is that too heavy for racing on?
Also, I ride a 60cm CAAD10, and the 60cm Croix de Fer has similar measurements within a couple of mm (TT and reach). Is that correct for CX, then a slightly shorter stem (have 120 on the CAAD10)? Or go for a smaller frame?
