It look like the frame been repaired where the down tube joins the bottom head lug?

Yes, I believe it has been repaired at some point but the quality of the work is exceptional. Previous owner was an aerospace engineer and pretty used to working with aluminium!
BUMP. I've lowered the price as the girlfriends demanding the spare room back from the bikes...

Was asking 350, dropped to 300 now
For sale is this Vitus 979 Duralinox road bike, circa 1981 and made from Vitus 979 Duralinox aluminium composite. Even considering it's age this bike is ridiculously light and rides beautifully and responsively.

Frame size is 57cm BB to TT and Top Tube measures 54cm. I'm 6 foot and it fits me perfectly.
Specifics:
The bike shows use commensurate with age. Has only had one owner before me, and all I have done is test ride it and give it a clean. Parts could do with a solid degrease and scrub but runs fine as is and a head turner.
An ace bike with good components!
Any questions feel free to ask and I'll do my best to answer. Pick up available from South East London (Peckham) or Shoreditch / City of London. Viewings could possibly be arranged.
