do not like, I hate it when brands feel the need to make theirs the outstanding one, the yellow of the logos looks absolutely shit.
That said, Sagan's synapse was the only one I've liked

Have you seen the new team kit? It's alright I guess...just more green and black.
-
• #1379
Green is win.
Team kit is not so much.
Could've done more tartan... (with pink). -
• #1380
Yeah, the greens do look like different shades though? or is that me, kit is more pine than this one
I was referring to the Mavic logos on the wheel, it'd look so much better if they were green
@eyebrows I suppose they should change the frame to a caad10 too? maybe with a particular colour scheme ;)

I really am not a fan of the green.

It's a real pity that Garmin and Cannondale seem to have held firm and retained all the worst parts of their team kit of the new season. Green and black argyle? Jesus christ.
The new Trek team bikes look sick though. They just need to dump the pinstripe and they'd be decent.

Yellow and green? No thanks.

Would if it wasn't for the 80's wheel graphic.

This colourway? my favourite too;
-
• #1386
That's the one. Just seemed nice and low and long and just the right amount of garish that a racers bike should be
-
• #1387
Which makes it all the more irritating that you can't buy anything like it.
-
• #1388
You really can't as the high end one are disc only.

I reckon if they made it like that, aka nothing like the real one and with decent geo, it'd outsell the hi-mod, put the pro's on it in the classics, market it as for "real roads" that mamils ride on, done.
That said, I did read somewhere that Cannondale have got plans for a synapse hi-mod, so that could be it, and it'd agree with the UCI rule that kit used must be released within a year, that no one pays attention too

In the previous pages there was an article about Sagan's bike, they're custom made for him 40mm longer with the max clearance possible.
Not sure what you mean by "decent geo", the current consumer road geo are decent for the people they're aiming it for.
-
• #1391
Max clearance is the cool bit about that, for most it'd be decent to be able to run 28's and guards on an also decent fair-weather bike
They do also look different, or is that me? like forks shape is different as well as rear triangle
-
• #1392
TL:DR, Sagan's bike is 40mm longer and 51mm brake drop according to the article.
You can actually see where the brake shoe bolt sit;

Thanks, I have read and should've before but cba to find the link
It's a cool bike that would be easily sell-able to so many I think, question is whether Cannondale do produce it and how much it'll be, as it probably won't be cheap
-
• #1394
They don't produce it tho, that's the problem :)
It's like a Synapse with the geo of an Evo and the clearance of a Scalpel ;)

Trek currently sell a race version of the Domane called the Domane Classic, which look pretty awesome with a near horizontal top tube.
Question is, did they sell enough to justify having a race version?
-

Guy I work with has that, or at least the 5.9 from a couple of years ago. Damn nice bike.

Here is mine. A Cannondale R800 converted to fixed gear to make it look like a Cannondale C-Track.

Hi all
I've been a member of LFGSS for a few years but only recently have I been back on this forum. Some of the bikes on here are amazing and a joy to look at. Anyway, last year I retired from downhill racing and was gutted (I've quite a few old injuries and now have arthritis in my knee and elbow) so I wanted something new to ride that could fill a big hole in my life. My best mate managed to sort me with a new(ish) frame- a cannondale! In the MTB world I stayed well away from 'em. We heard all sorts of bad things about them and one name that went around was 'crack and fail'.
It was a great bike. Fast, responsive and light but most of all it was fun. I really didn't know that a Cannondale could be that much fun. In the summer I ended up doing 60+ mile rides in a day. It was different to DH but it filled in massive gap in my life. It was brill! On January 2nd I went for a new year bike ride to shake off the Christmas cheese and blow away the cobwebs. I decided to head to the hills with my camera on a lovely sunny day. I set off on a main road giving it some with my legs of iron (well, lead really). Traffic was quite heavy with big lorries overtaking me so I went for cycle path instead.
About 5 seconds after taking the cycle path this happened. I fell through my bike, not off it. One dislocated finger, a massive shock and the feeling that I'd been punched by the Hulk.
And that's my Cannondale story
Pea

You got a step-thru Cannondale.
