• I currently use the blue shimano spd sl for regular training with Shimano r240 Carbon heat mouldable shoes.

    Knees feel ok once I warm up properly first.

    The slight 1 degree float doesn't feel explosive during standing start practice.

    Also I keep on having to max out the tension otherwise my foot pops out if the tension is set to half way.

    I just feel that if I have the tension cranked up though secure can get me in trouble if practicing on the road. Need more leg strength and technique I guess.
