  • Everyone is welcome to a very relaxed ride on your Japanese steel. It will start at Arigato, Brewer St. Meet at 12pm and set off at 12:15pm. The route is:

Thanks to global warming the weather is gonna be just fine, temperature around 8C, dry but cloudy.

    Please:

wear clothes that keep you comfortably warm
have at least 1 spare inner tube on you with tools to fix the puncture
have a bottle of water or tea/coffee in Dewar flask to keep you hydrated
bring at least 1 rear light and 1 lock

  • @spaceinvader I didn't see your bike in njs of lfgS's thread, what do you hAve if your don't mind me asking?

  • A Thermos isn't short for thermostat. A thermostat is an automatic switch used to regulate, and is triggered by, changes in temperature.

B Wait you got up ditchling on that? Respeck.

C Nice ride idea, feel like coming along just to see the bieks, even though I have no NJS.

D Feels like this is four years too late. But I really wanna see all the shiny sparkly bikes so have a bump.

  • Like the ride idea but wouldn't come because:
    -ride is on a Wednesday
-rolls up and down two of the busiest roads in London

If you want some route advice I would be happy to show you a better way to and from the Oylmpic Park in daytime traffic.

  • That's such a nice Samson the blue and black always look ace together. where was that picture taken?

  • It would be great if you could join the ride though it wont be anything out of the ordinary, it'll be fun, if you join. My phone had autocorrect on when I typed thermos. What kind of thermostat have you got at home? my central heating was completely refurbished in 2013 replacing the retro thermostat with new one that has lcd screen and separate controls for hotwater, central heating, etc.

  • I am sorry i chose Wednesday, what day of the week would be best for you in that week? maybe together with Skully and spaceindaver we could agree on a day.
You dont have to go into trouble creating a better route at routebuilder.com but if you have time i'd be very grateful.

  • Maybe just do it on the sat instead and start at st. pauls?

Im SOO up for this btw.

  • I won't be in town that weekend but would like to come.

Whatever you do, start at the Japan shop on Brewer Street Soho, they sell 600ml Sapporo.

  • The following Saturday would be good and I'd be up for coming but the only njs I haz is tange headset.

  • Can do Sat 21, weather permitting.

zaurbek, do you want me to put together a route?

Have a Bridgestone (mostly njs), that hasn't left the house in several months..

  • NJS ride starts when you say yes

  • Saturday is much more sensible day. I look forward to seeing you there.

  • It would be wonderful if you could put together a route. If BigH does not mind Japan shop on brewer street sounds like a great idea as a place at which to start the ride. It'd be interesting to see how japanese beer is different to my office license's pound a can.

  • put that tange headset in your pocket or rucksack and come to the ride you will be njs enough.

  • Up to take the Panasonic out, on the 21st, from the Japanese shop departure, with John, without @spaceinvader (injured), with @BigH,
A nice route could be easier than taking big roads.
And I'm sure there's more njs who can come on Saturday.

  • what happened to spaceinvader? I hope he's ok.

thank you for deciding to join the ride.

  • Yikes.

    Will post route later tonight.

  • You should hit up the kyoto garden in holland park too

  • Think I'm busy that day, but if not would like to come along. However only njs I have are the bars on my 1950's track bike. - steel frame though. If that's ok & if I'm free I'll bring a thermos with warm Akashi-Tai Honjozo Genshu Sake

  • I was thinking> http://www.bikemap.net/en/route/2884419

Except for the beers at the start I haven't really themed it.

  • Route is awesome, njs only is already a theme :)

  • get well soon.
