Max clearance is the cool bit about that, for most it'd be decent to be able to run 28's and guards on an also decent fair-weather bike
They do also look different, or is that me? like forks shape is different as well as rear triangle

In the previous pages there was an article about Sagan's bike, they're custom made for him 40mm longer with the max clearance possible.
Not sure what you mean by "decent geo", the current consumer road geo are decent for the people they're aiming it for.
