I'm fairly sure Giant use the bb86 standard @Tenderloin ? Don't know if they do in their CX but it'll probably depend on date too.
If they are bb86 then it definitely won't work
If they are bb30 or pf30 it definitely will
If it is BSA then with an adapter from rotor, this one i think, will work.
No comment on durability of any of the above bar bb30 though, which is I wouldn't but with regular maintenance and cleaning like a CX bike gets you'd probably be fine
