DC rainmaker said the 1000 was noticeably faster than the 810 when shifting around on maps and general use.
I just want to try it out. I know what 800/810 are like and so if it isn't better I'll go back. But if it's nicer to use maps on then that's fine. A few hours less battery is of no concern really.
I don't believe the claims of either.
