1000 has inferior battery life to 800 and 810 - how are you getting around that?

Looking at Steven's data, his ride time is over the claimed battery life of the 1000, I assumed he's riding with a back-up battery.

Inferior battery but possibly better mapping.

Dynamo/battery pack either way.

Edit: And it's only a theoretical 2h less from 17 to 15. So not really much.
