When Wiggins and Froome considered it too warm for long sleeves, they were told to shave their arms.

Their races only last an hour. Heat doesn't matter. Massive blouses.

I seem to Get f reak heat wave days on my races.
I go a weird colour, sweat from every square mm of skin (I swear my eye lids sweat), and suffer total loss of mojo.
Frankly I'd have a back-crack-n-sack if it meant avoiding TTing in long sleeves at 35C. Sounds horrid.
Maube its a fault in English Genetics.

What's a heatwave for you though? Double digit temps? :P
I like the long sleeves even if it's hot as it means I don't have to use sunscreen all over my arms.

Thread divert.
Bend the elbows on the hoods ftw. -

I'm raising my bars a smidge for a more flat fore arm position.
I accidentally bought a stem giving a 7mm reduction in reach.
Surely what I want is more reach?

Why not lower your shoulders?
-
• #211
No, you're shoulders.
-
• #212
Dont really want to go lower at the shoulders. I'm already pretty low.
The stem thing is just annoying. Need to sell it and buy new one ASAP.

What happen when you're wet?
-
• #214
^horrific grooming, which has left me mentally scarred.
-
• #215
That's been common knowledge for at least 6 years.
Thanks Mr Backstedt.

Do you mean how aero is a wet person compared to a dry one? Ask on their twitter feed. They might test it.

Yup, exactly what I meant.
Would sweating help keep your arm smooth as well without needing to shave in the first place?
-
• #220
If your arms stay wet you're deffinetely not going fast enough.
