Must. Grow. Taller.
The only thing that could possibly make this better is if it belonged to your late, great, Dad. I'm guessing he was Roy, one of the greatest pursuit/TT riders of the 70s.

Oh, that's nice!
Can't get the funds for that, but it's beautiful! -

Wow - that is truly amazing.
Too big for me but if it was a 55 and I had the cash - I'd have your hand off!!!
Good luck with the sale

Also, I bet this would go down a storm in the USA (I sold an ex Reg harris owned track frame to a guy in the states for mega $$'s)….may be worth trying ebay in the States?? You might get more than you think there…..

Is that Roger de Vleminck on the left of the picture?

Sure is.

Looks it, and Merckx to the right!

Just a random idea:
could we all chip in and buy this for velocio's wedding present?
-
• #20
Better still all chip and have this an innaugral piece in a LFGSS bike museum and all takes turns in hosting the museum.

The question is not who the blokes on the R & L of the picture are, the bloke in the middle is Roy Schuiten; twice World Pursuit Champion, winner of the GP des Nations (unofficial World TT championship of the time) winner of the Barrachi, multiple pro road winner. All this achieved whilst mainly riding in the service of others.
Rob, I will never sell my Dad's bike either and he was an average club rider!

I knew that...it was one on left I didn't.
R de V won four Paris-Roubaix title plus numerous other monuments plus more.
You were lucky....my dad could not ride a bike!

Awesome bike!
FOR SALE!!! brand new Ti Raleigh bike! This bike is brand new it has been in a pro Raleigh dealer store in Holland in Hilversum for 35 years, its a special build for the owner Rijk Vlaanderen by Jan Le Grand.
The owner never used or driven the bike, it was just for display. The owner has passed away and i bought the bike from his sister. They came to me during a classic bike ride in Utrecht with information about a brand new Ti Raleigh bike in my size! I got in contact with the lady and i bought the bike.
The bike was so new that i had to cut the derailleur and brake cables to the right length.
I am really happy with the bike but there is a chance for me to build up a new bike by De Rosa.
A bike that's Authentic to my Fathers old team Bottecchia bike. It happens to be the bike I love the most off al his team bikes during his career. Thats why i put it up for sale for my new project.
The bike:
No scratch or dents, just one minor spot under the bb from the bike standard and some minor sracthes on the brake handle, i think that's from moving it around the shop.
