  • That's the Sobe paint, similar to, but a bit more green than, my F1000sl :) 2003/4 probably.

  • I was able to buy one of these at the last RHC in Milan, directly from the guys who make them. Top notch and quite light actually..

They gave me one of their more expensive ones instead of the one I had ordered, because they weren't able to make mine in time.

Great guys overall, will definitely order again if I need something custom made..

  • Cool - the Pelayo-dude pointed me to them

  • Yeah I had pegged about that age. Mine's yellow where yours is green by the looks of it. Is your from the same era? Looks to be in pristine condition as well

  • skjoldunge fixieskidding

  • Why can't they properly finish anything they make?

  • Yep it's from 2003. Bought it a complete bike from on here a while ago, did away with the components then re-built it with modern 2x10. Kept the vintage magura anchors though.

There's a version of the Scalpel, Jekyll and Prophet in the Sobe colours too

  • Sorry for the bad pic! New wheels and tyres, temporary pedals and drivetrain. Should I go for omniums? Also, should I remove the V-sprint decals?

  • I'm finding the TA Chainset strangely attractive
    lose the stickers tho

  • Keep the stickers, otherwise how would we know they're not destickered Nologo/Espresso/etc boatanchors?

  • how would we know...

    Why would we care?

Do what you like @Husy. It's your bike and people probably aren't looking at it as much as you think.

  • And then you posted it in here ;-)

  • Do these guys have a website by any chance?

  • The silver chainset is a bliss on the big gaming of chess you are roling.

  • What I used officinamquadro@gmail.com and instagram @etoy00 (zerozero)

  • The chainset is falling apart so it defo needs replacing. I'm just not sure what with!

  • Ah, I'd assumed Nervex lugs as it has a Nervex BB shell and yes, twin plate crown (see first pic).

After some more research I think you're closer with the date, than what I was told: this is an "H" and 1960. Annoyingly the site that is always quoted when searching for dating info is dead.

Brampton Alatet HS and the Stronglight BB also point to Fifties, rather than Sixties AFAIK.

No idea how it has been stored and that's just crud on the eyelet.

If you're not careful, that will be the only "minister" at your wedding...
