• I shot MF (RZ67 II) for a couple of years, but found that although the image quality was impeccable, for anything not on a tripod/in a studio (which is nearly everything I shoot) it was so heavy and cumbersome that I'd always leave it at home instead of shoot it. And i really prefer the candid style shots, which are impossible when you have that tank between you and the subject.
So i bought a little Pentax Spotmatic with an 1.4 equally Japanese 50mm lens. I never thought it would hold up as well as it has! I would highly recommend anyone who wants a little 35mm camera to get out, load some film and start shooting. Here are some shots. Film stock is Portra 400,800 and Ilford Xp2 400 (6x7's are Mamiya) Peace.
