My mum and I have been thinking (never a good idea) and have decided to get another dog, probably a cocker spaniel. In many ways it's easier for us and beneficial for our current dog to have a companion when we're out, not that I'm going anywhere for the next few weeks.
If you're getting a cocker, make sure it's show stock not working stock if it's to be a companion. My working cocker, Stella, is a small thermo-nuclear device with a paw at each corner.....
He's a beaut @eyebrows. Long may he last!
