I treated myself to a drill bit that fits on top on Porlex/Hario grinders over xmas. Much better for grinding coffee for French press or cold brew. Also the look on peoples' faces when I use a drill to make coffee makes it worthwhile.
I didn't even bother with an adapter - the chuck on a driver fits fine.
Now I'm in the market for a cheap electric screwdriver that has a chuck fitting, rather than a hex plug fitting.
I was going to say I couldn't understand the need for an adapter. My electric drill will fit straight onto the Hario, low speed, no hammer.
