  • Cheers. I was hoping for cheaper but will have to look at how much these things cost. How do you find the inserts? From some things I've read they don't provide as full vision as the actual lens being made up with your prescription.

    A large part of winter riding is in the dark so sunglasses aren't great for that.

  • I use disposable contacts whenver I ride the bike with few ride exceptions; I have no issues with peripheral vision ..

    I put SS greens on the summer bike. They're really great braking from high speed in the wet or dry. Perfect for mountains (no fade). To me they can feel a bit wooden (when cold, for the first few grabs).

    Salmon's go on the front on the winter bike. They have nice bite at lower temps/speeds. (Standard shimano on the rear because I always seem to have some to use up).

  • I'm fine riding with contacts. It's when I can't wear my contacts and am wearing my glasses that I have issues.
