In the confines of the house and garden he is perfect unless he smells cat or fox then he is like he is out on walks. The thousand yard stare and totally deaf. He is also completely unresponsive to food/treats on walks so he is always on a 15 metre lead when out and about. He absolutely cannot be trusted off a lead but he is a lovely dog the rest of the time. We've had him five years and he's about seven and a half so he's never going to change.
