That's pretty much how I felt! I wanted to be able to take pictures without carrying around a big lump in my bag

Avoid any camera website. It just turns you in to a gear head. Get an X100t :)

Or a Ricoh GR.

Yes, D3 is on the list for beginning of next year (when, hopefully, all the rich fucks have bought themselves D4's for christmas, thus selling their old bodies, and I can score a good one for less than 1k).
I'm considering selling my D3, I'll send you a PM. (NB I'm not a rich fuck.)

Slowly slowly getting back into photography after a few months of everything-i-take-is-shit. Even revisiting old stuff finding some gems.

I've got the little 50mm Canon f1.8 lens (the plastic one) and it's jammed - autofocus won't move the lens barrel thingiewatsit. Anyone have service guide for these or know how to crack them open to fix?

Reviews on the Fuji 18-55 ?
I have the 35 1.4 atm and considering getting the 18-55, feeling a little restricted

Just got one with my X pro1, very impressed. I'd say on par with the 17-55 2.8 Canon equivalent. Owned one last year with my xe-1 so i've had both lenses for a while
I got lucky with a mint copy at the M'cr branch of LCE so maybe have a look on their website rather than brand new
It's still nice and light and the optical viewfinder works better at 18mm imho of coursePS . I've got a Bnib 18mm if you fancy a wider prime

Too cold to stop and take many photos on our festive 500 tour. However the sunset on Worthing seafront was cray cray

Maybe you should get a Nokia Lumia 1020?

Want that Voigtlander Ultron 40mm but it seems rare as hens teeth second hand, don't fancy paying 400 quid new. Think I'll probably just end up with one of the AF 50 1.4's, any I've forgotten? wanted something a bit wider but the new 35mm's are too spenny for me
New year, new portrait. Even though I've shot with the 35mm Summicron for years now, this lens continues to blow me away with the contrast and bokeh (Leica m9)
