  • We've found a sofa we really like in the sale, it looks nice and is comfortable. However, it's also a sofa bed, and the normal version of it, which was cheaper, is no longer available.

Is there any downside to having a sofa bed as a main sofa? Apart from people finding out and demanding to stay.

  • They weigh a fuck-tonne more than a conventional sofa, so check access into your property.

  • Very much this, friendships and backs have been ruined moving these things around.

  • Access shouldn't be an issue, it's going in a ground floor front room. It weighs 100kg, so 25kg more than the non-bed version, but just about the same as an overweight corpse. Definitely manageable.
