Loving the forks on that.

Keep an eye on that crank, holes look a little rounded.

Back to the sensible set up, albeit temporarily without mudguards. Swapped the levers for some S500 ones and used some black Newbaums tape, I have a feeling this is going to be the way it stays for the foreseeable future.

Waiting for another crankset : Sram S300 + small hhsb chainring.

Done anything about the rattling on the left lever?
-
• #98835
Only a bit of electrical tape around the top of the lever and under the hood to stop it from moving, I did the biro trick in the past and it was great until someone decides to test your brake and ruin all the hard work. The bit that the cable ferrule sits in inside the lever has a bit of a rattle going on, if I can hear it clearly enough over the noise of lorries and buses on my commute then I'll jam some blu-tack in there to shut it up.

Rideable now, cockpit temporary hence gash bar tape. I guess these frames are pretty decent.

^Nice
Front derailleur is at the bottom of the braze plate and the gap to the chain ring is out of the recommended range by a good 5mm. Wondering what views were on filing out a couple of mm on the braze plate? Will it be mega sloppy between the big rings if it stays as is? Thanks

If you have front shifting trust issues you must be using Sram ;) 5800 has improved front shifting with redesigned FD; it has more leverage.
@HoKe you need this: http://www.feltbicycles.com/USA/2015/Bikes/road/race/F1-PR.aspx

Compact chainset on a roadframe which needs a Min 52T big ring?
-
• #98842
Quite possibly

Good to know. Thanks Amey

It's quite common and shouldn't be a problem.
I wouldn't file anything.

Great news. My hand-me-down rat tail file is unlikely to be up to it anyway.
It's a 90's frame and compact chainset (compact made perfect sense...)
