Hanover are hosting an international tournament in May. Classic German tournament, camping, BBQ, cheap drinks vendor onsite...
I went there for the German champs a few years back, and had a great time.
It's also not far from the airport, which has cheap flights to Stansted (at least it did when I flew there are lot)
