Woah woah Tottenham. Is that the first time you have beaten those cunts in about 15 years or something?

And one bookmaker paid out at the beginning of November the mugs. Lovely to see the lead disappear like a puff of smoke. Lets hope City can finish the job in the second half of the season

Stevie G is offski

I mean, 12 games into the season they'd won the league.
Where's Clive with the stats after 20 games?
Many lolz set of results in the Prem.

But it did - yeee haa

Town have been doing pretty well lately but it's going to come to an end at some point. I don't expect to see us in the top two come the end of the season. Saying that, we outplayed Boro and Brentford recently and have drawn against the other teams around us, including your lot last time round, so who knows.
I'm off to Southampton on Sunday which should be fun. I love the FA Cup third round.

I'm caught in a bit of a Corny quagmire, didn't see the game so can't really comment... I did tell you all that Citeh would win the title tho'...

• #113734
Stevie G - It's all just a ruse to get a loan deal from the MLS to Man City next season so he can win the Prem.

City will shit their pants when Toure goes to Africa for six weeks. He'll come back tired and take another few weeks to get up to speed as well, ambling round more slowly than ever.

Where's Clive with the stats after 20 games?
yeah, clives case of long-post-itis seems to have cleared up nicely
he was banging on deliriously mid november
seems to have quietened down on that front, seemingly in proportion with their gap at the topwonder if jose will garner the troops by declaring.... " it's a conspiracy " everyone coming to the kings road tries to beat us ... it's just not fair

He's already started on that clap-trap

18 games left.
10 at home
8 away.
None of those 8 are against sides in the top 5.
No more complacency. Renewed focus. Good excuse for a massive kick up the jacksie..
We are still top. I would prefer to be top than, say 6th or 8th. Still 9 points clear of 3rd place.

Of the top half of the table we only have Arsenal, West Ham and Swansea away to come.

Gerrard's off then? Does that mean we'll be treated to countless pages of how he's a "legend" and the greatest player of the modern era?
I hope not because he isn't. Dogleash is probably the only player who can be called an "Anfield legend" because of the domination his team subjected the domestic league as well as the European competitions to.
Gerrard is an odious individual who slipped, dived and whined his way through a career that could've been significantly more rewarding had he left and gone to a club that won things.
Yes he won the CL (almost single-handedly), but I still can't help thinking about everything he didn't win but could've. Like the league last year, for example.
Unfortunately he doesn't have the intellect to look back over his career and think about missed opportunities. God willing, he won't become another unintelligible pundit - he'll just piss off and enjoy his retirement in America.

6th or 8th are vastly underrated positions at the halfway point i'll have you know
it's like being in 2nd position in the mens sprint going into the last lap
plenty of slipstream to be takenthe also rans like southampton and west ham will provide a nice hole in the air

How did Cahill manage not to get booked?
Because shithouse refs still doing nothing about them.
-
• #113744
I wonder if Gerrard will now go one to win the MLS League.
Probably not.
-
• #113745
he'll probably sign for an mls team but be loaned back to man citeh for a year or two
and help them win the title -
• #113746
That would be funny. Looks like Fat Frank will be there until January 2016 and so will San Pellegrino have the issue of how to play Lampard and Gerrard together?
-
• #113747
oh no not that again
-
• #113748
Paul is right: He's complete shit. Played in many-a-shit teams won everything beyond the league and the world club cup....
...such yawns.

I think The Guardian is doing a live blog on Gerrard's departure. Fuck me.
FUCKIN' 'AVE IT!!!!!!
So very nervous when Hazard got Chelsea's second, thought it was the start of the fightback, but we rode out the storm and got the fifth and then I wasn't nervous at all, even when Terry scored the third...
Apart from giving away the ball for Hazard's goal, Fazio had as good a game as I've seen from him, won ever header, got his foot in and marshalled costa well.
We looked up for it from the off and we made sure we weren't overrun in midfield. Dembele and bentaleb had strong games and chadli one if his best, always breaking forward and carrying a threat. Kane just keeps getting better and was all over the front line, and lloris didn't have much to do shot stopping wise until Chelsea had that purple patch after their 2nd and the push to chase the game towards the end.
We looked a good side today and like we can kick on and give any side above us a game.
Hope this is the first of many good performances.
So fucking excited.
@cliveo, @jaw, @>>>>>> (in hoarse Norwegian accent) "your boys took a hell of a beating!"
