Having owned 2 60d's and a 7d i've not been happy with the IQ , having said that there is no lens calibration adjustment on the 60d maybe mine weren't perfectly set up?
I suppose when you went through three bodies, not being happy with the results, you will have tried other people's lenses for comparison to see whether it's your lenses that are a bit 'off'?
@well_is_it I'm sorry I did not have enough coffee yet to enter the theoretical pixel peeping debate, and even if I had I'd say it's tiresome and too far from real life shooting to bother.
In a nutshell - I used to read so much stuff about cameras, learning about their strenghts and weaknesses - and in the last year I've actually looked closely at a lot of photos and what they've been shot with - and it's been pretty revealing what some people archieve with very basic equipment.
I think it's just me and my pixel peeping , i do a lot of detailed cityscape stuff and enlarge/print big

A lot of older MF lenses are razor sharp though i'll give you that
